When our students take on curatorial roles, amazing art projects emerge. Gabriel Chuchuba, African Verbal and Visual Arts student at Iwalewahaus, university of Bayreuth exhibited the works of Mbongeni Buthelezi at the Jean-Paul-Art Space in Bayreuth together with the Iwalewahaus curatorial team. The idea for the exhibition grew out of his enquiry into the recycling of plastic materials, and was driven by the question of what role art can play in protecting the environment.
