In 2021, the Friends of Iwalewahaus, our Freundeskreis, supported our art space to invite renowned Obou Gbais (Abidjan/Berlin) to leave his artistic and philosophical traces in Bayreuth.
One of them can be found on the outside wall in the courtyard of Iwalewahaus. Boogie-Woogie/ Pour La Liberté graces our walls and reminds us each day that freedom is not a given and has to be protected – also from parties ironically claiming to defend them today.
Let‘s meet on Tuesday, 18.01.22 at 19h and cheers to friendship, to art and to the honour of being able to host artists and their ideas – also in this crisp, fresh year!
