8.3., 19h, Remembering Miriam Tlali at Iwalewahaus: Archive Listening Session

We mourn the passing of Miriam Tlali, world-famous author of “Between Two Worlds” and “Amandla!”Miriam Tlali who cared: for others, the fight against Apartheid, the battle for justice. We honor her life and works: with words from her books, beautiful music, and friends. Celebrating is the right way to pay homage to a life dedicated to beauty, equality, radical sharing; and the power of the literary word.  We do this on International Women’s Fighting Day. Because

We do this on International Women’s (Fighting) Day. Because there’s lots to be done, and you showed us how to not be silent.

Come join us Wednesday, 8.3.17, 7 pm, at Iwalewahaus,  where we’ll think of Miriam Tlali, speak of her life, read from her works. And after a minute of silence enjoy the beats of the Archive Listening Session, connecting all sides, hosted by Lena Naumann and Alexandra Kuhnke. Thanks for hosting this traveling memory!
